Okay, so it turns out I'm a horrible blogger. True story. I haven't had a lot of time to myself to write, but I have been painting quite a bit for work. To make up for the lack of posts I'll show you some never before publicized pieces of art (and then some that I've put up on my facebook already). These are all for a course about family history. I really enjoyed experimenting with a new style and adding a lot of cultural diversity among the figures (drawing people from different cultures is probably my most favorite thing ever).

And then my hugely under appreciated favorite painting everrrrr is this fire-breathing Sumo.
I {heart} him sooo much.
p.s. does writing "heart" all super cutesy with these things: {} make it more socially acceptable to love one of my own creations so much? |

Okay, I totally want to buy fire-breathing sumo. My husband is part Japanese and we have little boys who love super heroes and dragons and hey, that's what it makes me think of. I want it! And I hope your email hasn't changed. I sent you a little something this morning.
